The Lean-to conservatory is making a massive come back in the market place. The new styling combining insulating pelmets and the use of full height walls mean you can have a glazed extension, light but incredibly warm, coupled with stylish bi-folding doors and a choice of colour.
Gone is the green house – Hello Grand Design! Lean-to conservatories run in straight lines along the back of a house helping make the most of every square metre of your floor area.
The Lean-to is a great way to expand your home if you have the width but not necessarily the depth. Boasting the largest size parameters, it is a flexible unit which can have a high or even an incredibly low pitch going down to only 2.5° making it very versatile.
The most obvious advantage is that the Lean-to conservatory is much better insulated as the roof acts as a barrier to the sunlight in summer and helps retain the heat in the winter. The Lean-to roof can be extended to make a canopy, ideal for relaxing outside.
