Glass Conservatory Roofs
Is it time for you to upgrade your tired conservatory roof? If you’ve had your conservatory for a number of years, or inherited it when you bought your house, the likelihood is that the existing roof is glazed with polycarbonate. Polycarbonate can be quite strong and thermally efficient, but its performance can wear over time.
A new, high-performance glass roof is a great choice when it comes updating your conservatory.
New technology means your conservatory can become more than a ‘greenhouse’. Our glass roofs are more thermally efficient, reduce glare and retain heat in winter, so you can use your conservatory throughout the year. Keeping your conservatory cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
Our high-performance roofs are made from toughened glass and have 3 main properties:
- Great thermal performance – cool in summer and warm in winter
- Solar control – excludes up to 83% of the sun’s energy and reduces glare
- Self-cleaning – Uses the sun’s energy to gently burn off organic deposits (bird droppings, finger/paw prints). A special coating lets rainwater ‘sheet off’, removing dust/debris as it flows
All of our replacement glass conservatory roofs use the tried and tested Ultraframe Classic conservatory roof system which also has the option to be upgraded with an internal lighting pelmet.
Solid LivinRoof Replacement
The Ultraframe LivinRoof (Living roof conservatory) also know as the Duo-Roof is the first conservatory roofing system designed to give you the flexibility to combine solid and glazed roofing seamlessly. You can extend your living space and enhance the thermal insulation to give you a room that you can use all year round.
The LivinROOF conservatory roof is designed to provide the best-insulated conservatory on the market today. As standard, it has the plastered internal perimeter that can house low energy down-lighters. It gives a solid look to the conservatory creating more of a living room feel.
The great feature of LivinROOF is that it can incorporate one, or a number of glazed panels that allows daylight to penetrate deep into your room, making the space instantly brighter, the remaining roof sections are manufactured from highly insulated aluminium panels.
The internal space is stunning; it can deliver a plastered vaulted ceiling or the option of a suspended ceiling to match the ceiling height from the adjoining room in some cases. The U-value is a measure of how well a material serves to minimise heat loss, with a lower number indicating a better performing product
Tiled Conservatory Roof Replacement
The Equinox tiled replacement conservatory roof system is the contemporary way to use and enjoy your conservatory everyday. The new Equinox roof system can transform your conservatory in to a comfortable extension to your home that can provide you with comfort all year round.
A major benefit of the Equinox roof is that regardless of the elements and whatever the temperature outside you can enjoy your conservatory. The solid tiled roof reduced the noise from any weather such and wind or rain, making your conservatory more comfortable to rest in these conditions. The insulation panels on the Equinox roof system have a low U-value of 0.15. This keeps the heat in and your bills low.
The styling on the outside of the roof can be fitted with premium slate style tiles in a range of different colours to suit your home. The internal style of the roof can be fitted with modern plasterboard or tongue and groove timber ceiling.
