Opening vents of our 70mm slim PVCu windows use a special SlimSash profile exclusive to Platinum NRG products.

Glazing

Green Glaze ‘A + rated’ windows have a composite reinforcement for thermal enhancement and sealed units are Argon filled and comprise of Optiwhite iron glass, Planitherm low e-glass and a black warm edge super spacer bar. Green Glaze Windows utilise Warm Edge Super Spacer Technology. The advanced coating reflects heat back into your home, meaning you need less energy to heat it. Planitherm maximises the amount of natural light into the home without the haze of tint associated with some older windows. Green Glaze Windows are also pleased to offer a wide range of decorative glass options.

Manufacturered entirely in the UK from wipe-clean PVCu, our casement windows are attractive, low-maintenance and all carry a 10 year guarantee. Available in both chamfered or sculptured finishes, black low-line gaskets and a choice of handle types.

Side opening make excellent fire escapes and at Green Glaze Windows, we use heavy duty side hinges which can open slightly or full opening angle of 90 degrees; this has an added advantage of being a fire escape. The hinge is adjustable and you can slide the 90 degree open window in on itself allowing ease of cleaning.

FlushSASH

Embrace the timeless charm of the past while enjoying the modern convenience and style that our windows provide.

flushSASH refers to the opening sash fitting flush within the outer frame rather than protruding as with most PVCu windows. For even greater authenticity, flushSASH is available with a deep bottom rail as used on traditional timber windows along with the option of using mechanical butt joints for the frame and sash rather than fusion welds.

These traditional style products are crafted using environmentally friendly lead free PVCu profiles, and can be specified with energy efficient 28mm double glazed sealed units for optimum energy performance. They can be produced with fusion-welded or an optional mechanically-jointed frame.
